Brush up on those Dance moves with the Dance Doctor

“If the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, then the way to a woman’s heart is through dancing”. That’s what John Cassese, better known as the Dance Doctor had to say on the TV show “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus”.

John claims if you can walk… you can dance and he’s willing to teach couples how to prepare for that all important wedding dance.

This is one wedding planning activity that is almost as much fun as picking out the diamond rings, so grab your partner and head for the dance studio. The shock and envy on your friends faces when you wow them at your reception will be worth it…. not to mention the fact of the calories you’ll burn.

The Perfect Wedding Bands

Marriages are made for a lifetime, at least they should be… and wedding bands are also for a lifetime and beyond. Many families will pass their wedding rings down to their children and grandchildren.

The options for wedding bands today are endless…

From the Classic

To the more detailed Diamond Wedding bands

When choosing your wedding band remember to match it to your engagement ring. Choose stones that compliment your engagement ring or a classic ring with the same metals. Another option is to buy a Wedding set that includes both the engagement ring and wedding bands.

When choosing diamond wedding bands remember the four C’s of diamonds, but also be sure that the brilliance of the the wedding band diamonds does not outshine the brilliance of your diamond engagement ring.

Elope to Las Vegas…

Getting tired of all the Wedding Planning hassles? Are you tempted to chuck it all and head to Vegas?

Thousands of Brides and Grooms do it every year. Las Vegas is still the Wedding Capitol of the World.

What are the Legal Requirements to getting married in Vegas?

It is true that there is no blood test or waiting period required, but you do still need to apply for a license.

I had to laugh when I read the requirements for getting a license…you must be a man and a woman, at least 18 years of age and UNRELATED. Like I’d really want to marry my brother.

You can get a license as young as 16 but only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Not quite 16 well in Las Vegas you can still get married if your parent or legal guardian files a legal action, pays all court fees and presents the action to the State of Nevada Court.

Bring your proof of age and $55.00 to the Marriage License Bureau Clark County Courthouse at 200 South 3rd Street, 1st Floor Office, Las Vegas, NV. Fortunately, they are open until 12 Midnight. That will give you plenty of time to get sufficiently wasted first.

Now that you have your license, it’s off to choose a Chapel, which considering how many Wedding chapels are in Vegas could take quite awhile. The options are endless, Themed weddings, romantic weddings, big weddings, small weddings, expensive weddings and cheap weddings, full-service packages and basic packages.

Need a dress? No problem, some Chapels have them for rent, along with flowers, music, photography and mementos of the happy occasion.

Don’t want to miss out on the Bachelor or Bachelorette party? No problem.. Las Vegas has you covered. They have special tours with the raunchiest of raunchy parties for the most discriminating Bride and Groom.

Worried your family might feel left out? No Problem, You can have your wedding streaming live on the Internet for just a few dollars more.

You can hop on a plane, be there in a jiffy, grab that license and head for the cute little white chapel and viola! Married.

No guest list, no shopping, no taste testing scrimp balls, no listening to lousy bands or worrying about hurting a bridesmaid’s feelings. Quick, Simple, Done.

Now, take a breath…. step back

Realize that you do have options

And get busy planning that big beautiful Wedding you’ve always dreamed of…

Just remember …. there is always Vegas.

There is something about trying on those wedding gowns

I don’t think there is a woman alive that actually likes trying on swim suits, but ask any girl to try on a few Wedding gowns and we all get positively giddy.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw this clip from the TV show “Friends”, it so reminded me of a few of my friends. No matter how uncomfortable a dress might be, you still don’t want to change. It’s the one time when we all get to feel like a princess.
