Well here’s my find of the century fro the vintage style bicycle made for two.. I was just about to order from the fancy flours website until I realised that on top of the $95 they were askin a minimum of $40 for shipping to the UK. Thats an approximate total of £86 for the topper!

So I did my own homework and I mangaged to find the actual vendor of the topper and they are selling it at a fraction of the cost!! They are based in paris and the web is http://www.pixiboutique.com It has cost me £27 in total and I am over the moon with my find!! I think us brides deserve to save a little money on our weddings so happy shopping girls!

Concerning the mystery of the tandem bicycle, it was made by Dept 56 and we carried it for several years. Dept 56 discontinued production of it, we completely sold out of our inventory, and it is gone forever. I am so sorry because not a day passes that we do not have a bride asking for it.

Try to find a skilled artist who is into sculpting and creates cake toppers, like heather higgins (in the UK). Bicycles are one of the most tricky models to make as everything has to be balanced perfectly.
